Pretzels!

January, it's the month of Pretzels!
Here's a true, I swear, pinky promise fact....
never eat a pretzel from a NYC street vendor.
They lay them on the ground at 5:00 AM because
there isn't enough space in the carts at first. Unless
you want to eat NYC sidewalk germs, you should make
home made pretzels, unless your like me. I never have time
to slowly make the dough, so buy Crate and Barell's natural
pretzel mix. It's not ultra-salty, and with some Dijon
Mustard, it's a great snack, plus, you get to roll out
the dough your self, and shape it into pretzels,or other
creative shapes! Have fun creating pretzel masterpieces!

  1. That is so not true because you have to get a permit to do this. Anyway there are no street vender when there is snow on the ground and since it was a snow day......there were no street vendors. Don't eat the street things because the are full of salt about the size of rocks. Anyway You should list your sources..like where did you get that beacuse that is not reliable. JUst saying anyway happy birthday.

  2. My source is my Dad's friend who used to be a Water bottle delivery guy when he was 13 or so. He would deliver the bottlers super early, and he'd see the trucks coming in, putting the pretzels on the ground. What did you think? The pretzel people bake them in their carts?
